About

Of all the weird things to fall in love with as an 80s baby (video games, hip hop, comic books, etc. I love these things too but stick with me) I fell in love with taking pictures. I was about 5 years old when I took my first picture on a Polaroid camera, the picture was of my mom in Times Square. It was in that moment I realized how much I enjoyed taking pictures. Framing the shot, assessing the lighting, and pushing the button to forever encapsulate a special moment forever. Comically, I have awful eyesight and have had awful eyesight since about 7 or 8 years old. The one thing which has always made sense or been clear to me is my ability to frame shots. This irony of having bad eyesight but loving to take photos is where I get the name for this site. I hope you enjoy seeing the world through my blind iris.
